[edit]The marshmallow sofa was not George Nelson's design, but rather belonged to Irving Harper who worked at the company.
It may be more accurate to separate George Nelson and George Nelson Associates to give proper credit to Nelson's associate designers since all designs from that office bore the George Nelson Associates' imprimatur...
It is interesting that there is no mention of George Nelson's Bubble Lamp designs which are still very popular today.Blessedone777 (talk) 00:03, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
Irving Harper
