The Slave Ship by J. M. W. Turner

... that George Case was the co-owner of a slave ship called the Zong, whose crew perpetrated the Zong massacre?
This reference on page 7 says "George Case co-owner of the Zong"

Comment That JMW Turner's The Slave Ship was inspired by the Zong Massacre is possible, but far from certain. It was 60 years earlier, & it is not certain he'd even heard of it.
