- ... that George Case was the co-owner of a slave ship called the Zong, whose crew perpetrated the Zong massacre?
- This reference on page 7 says "George Case co-owner of the Zong"

- Comment That JMW Turner's The Slave Ship was inspired by the Zong Massacre is possible, but far from certain. It was 60 years earlier, & it is not certain he'd even heard of it. Calling it a "depiction of" the massacre on the main page is going too far. Johnbod (talk) 16:25, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
- Fair point. I've changed the caption to The Slave Ship by J. M. W. Turner. Is this acceptable? Desertarun (talk) 17:11, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
- Yes but I've added links. Johnbod (talk) 04:32, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- This article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain, the hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral, and I detected no copyright issues. No QPQ is needed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:24, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
