Hello Empire3131/Uketpat Thanks for the notification. I believe however that this article fulfils the criteria for inclusion on wikipedia. You are free to google search on the name of this notable personality who is a source of inspiration to many downtrodden young Africans. An extra-ordinary figure in the democratization of the continent and a major player in the worldwide democratization movement of the late 1980s. We have seen many stories about figures in the democratization struggle of Eastern Europe which are not as compelling as this celebrated in the global media. We read of the heros of Tianamen....this is one of the heroes of the Nigerian struggles that claimed more victims that Tianamen and was languishing in Jail at that same period. A second review will be much appreciated. i left you a message over 4weeks requesting a proof reading to be sure its ok to 'go life' but didn't get a response. Article problems

[edit]

Although the subject appears to be notable, the article as of this version is seriously flawed. Basic problems:

  • The article reads more like a panegyric than a sober biography of a wealthy businessman and ambitious politician who has changed parties more than once.
  • It includes meaningless sycophantic twaddle that is completely inappropriate for an encyclopedia article: "And talking of courage, it does appear it is innate in him. He has such an uncommon ability to make enormous sacrifice for whatever he believes in"
  • The article omits or glosses over significant information such as the chairmanship of Bresson Energy.
  • It should be possible to check every assertion through a reference to a reliable independent source, particularly with a biography of a living person, but most of the content has no citations showing the source of the information.

The article badly needs clean-up. Aymatth2 (talk) 01:42, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
