Gasoline

It seems likely that the name gasoline comes from its early name of gas oil, and our articles at coal gas (Gas oil (an early form of gasoline)) and gasoline both hint at this... but can we source it? It's an interesting and encyclopedic factoid if so. Andrewa (talk) 21:15, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
