Number of seats

[edit]

@Titan2456 Why are you listing 93 seats for PTI when the source explicitly states that this number represents PTI seats across three provinces? PTI has 58 seats in KPK alone. You cannot include seats from Punjab and Sindh under Gandapur's ministry. Stop pretending you didn't hear it. Here are exact quotes from the source to clarify: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday notified 93 returned MPAs in three provinces as PTI lawmakers in pursuance of the July 12 Supreme Court order in the reserved seats case. and According to a notification issued by the ECP today, 29 seats in the Punjab Assembly, six seats in the Sindh Assembly and 58 seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly were given to PTI in pursuance of the July 12 Supreme Court order. Formulae: KPK+Punjab+Sindh=93 in other words 58+29+6=93 Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 20:21, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@SheriffIsInTown It is a complete coincidence that the number of seats that were handed over to PTI MPAs total and that PTI + SIC in the KPK assembly (ie the parliamentary members of Gandapur’s ministry) are both at 93. It is a complete misunderstanding on your part confusing the source with the number of seats in favour of Gandapur’s government. I am advising you for the 3rd time to please see the KPK Assembly article to understand that 93 seats are in the government. Also please check the Second Shehbaz Sharif government article to understand that the composition bar represents how many members are there in the government total not how many seats are held by the top/ruling party, this includes coalition members and other parties besides the top party. Yes, PTI has 58 seats in KPK but add the SIC seats and you get 93 seats. It is simply a misunderstanding confusing the unrelated source and the number of parliamentarians in the KPK government, no hard feelings. PTI officially holds 58 seats but Gandapur’s ministry holds 93 seats total including SIC. Titan2456 (talk) 21:11, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If that's the case, you need to provide a source confirming that Gandapur's ministry holds 93 seats and another source stating that the remaining 35 seats belong to SIC. Until then, we are listing 58 seats here. If you're correct, you should have no problem finding the necessary sources. Given the time you've spent on this edit war, you can surely find time to locate the sources. The onus is on you! Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 21:38, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Weird how you didn’t do this on every other ministry government article but okay. Titan2456 (talk) 21:42, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
