Keyshia Cole
[edit]Is not signed to GOOD Music.
[[Image:KeyshiaColeAlbumBackCover.jpg|thumb|center|450px]Taylor Stults
She is signed to A&M records as can be seen by looking at the back of her album...
--Shawn88 10:23, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
Well according to her wikipedia page, Keyshia signed to GOOD Music in February 2006 (after her debut album.) That is why I addded her. Realferrari 06:25, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Producers
[edit]Just produced one song on Kanye's last album; 9th doesn't seem to have anything to do with the label. I'm removing them from the list of producers for GOOD Music..
Unreleased albums
[edit]Wikipedia policy is that unreleased albums should not be listed, since they are hard to verify, and may not be released in the form advertised, or at all: you are welcom to add them again as soon as they are released. Please don't keep re-adding these albums without good reason. Could you please leave edit summaries for your edits? -- The Anome 12:34, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
So why are there many articles listed here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Upcoming_albums ? Shawn88 12:36, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Once Again
[edit]Just bumped it up into the released category.
GOOD Music & Sony
[edit]I just read an article on the net stating that GOOD Music will no longer be staying with Sony. Also that Consequence is no longer with GOOD Music. Can this be confirmed? [1] --RapPhenom 15:29, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
from the Sa-Ra article :They had previously been signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, where they planned to release their debut full-length LP, reportedly entitled Black Fuzz. Sony Urban has since been Dissolved by parent SONY-BMG, and the group, free from restriction, negotiated an unprecedented non-exclusive deal with pioneering independent label Babygrande
Fair use rationale for Image:Goodmusic.png
[edit]Image:Goodmusic.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:23, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

GOOD Music New artist: Mos Def

- Not done. Mos Def is already in the list of artists. -Atmoz (talk) 00:07, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
CyHi Da Prynce
[edit]is his name...not what it was changed to: Prynce CyHi or whatever it says. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brandonblattner (talk • contribs) 14:13, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
Possible Signed Artists
[edit]D'Banj, Mo'Hits, Pasuma and Other Nigerian Artists
[edit]There has been no independent confirmation that these artists have been signed to the label. Using blogs which cite this section of Wikipedia as the source of these signings is not proof enough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quartermaster76 (talk • contribs) 20:20, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
D'Banj is now confirmed with a single 'Oliver Twist' being released under GOOD Music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88jake88 (talk • contribs) 16:02, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Bon Iver
[edit]The link cited doesn't really seem to prove he's actually signed to the label, but performed with Kanye West for that performance, the link doesn't exactly say that he's with G.O.O.D. Music now, and no other source seems to state this as fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.248.235.213 (talk) 05:33, 29 June 2011 (UTC) As far as I'm aware, officially "Bon Iver" isn't signed to GOOD Music but "Justin Vernon" is, can't find citation of this though 94.193.128.85 (talk) 03:33, 19 December 2011 (UTC)SD
Teyana Taylor
[edit]Although appearing on two Kanye songs in 2010, Dark Fantasy from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and Christmas in Harlem from G.O.O.D. Fridays, Taylor denies signing to GOOD Music herself in an interview[1] posted on YouTube. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88jake88 (talk • contribs) 22:39, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
2 Chainz
[edit]The artist keeps appearing in and out of current acts. I'm pretty sure he is signed, but if someone could clarify...?
No he isn't. I clarified this on the page. He works with them, but in recent interviews including the Complex interview that is cited he is not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewsimpson1024 (talk • contribs) 18:49, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
Common
[edit]Shouldn't really be placed here - I know. But he never left the label in 2011. He said himself. He just released his last album on Warner Bro's instead of GOOD but is very much still on the label and on the upcoming album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JJ-FBP (talk • contribs) 13:49, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Twista
[edit]Twista is not signed to GOOD Music. Twista stated he'd be open to joining the label, but he isn't signed.
http://thisbeatgoes.com/hip-hop-news/twista-clarifies-rumors-thats-interested-in-g-o-o-d-music/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88jake88 (talk • contribs) 19:07, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Tyga
[edit]Is Tyga still signed to GOOD Music? If so why not place him on the "Current artists" list? Btw "{{Navboxes |title=Current artists templates |list1=" is broken. Premeditated 06.07-18 —Preceding undated comment added 22:28, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
Record Label
[edit]The article says "Over the years there has been confusion as to what the company actually is. GLC was quoted as saying that it “isn’t a label”, but that it is “a family and like a production company.” It is still down to the artist to come to a deal with a distribution company, which will be backed by GOOD Music.[6]". GOOD Music became an actual Record Label this year when Finally Famous by Big Sean was released, said album was the first album released under the GOOD Music Label. I can't find Citation for this so will stick it here for someone to find/edit/add. Kanye and Big Sean announced this on Twitter 94.193.128.85 (talk) 03:32, 19 December 2011 (UTC)sd
GOOD or good?
[edit]Checking the logo of the record label on the page, it clearly says "good" all in small letters. Why should we have "GOOD" in all-capitals? This needs checking! werldwayd (talk) 08:33, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
When referred to by several articles it's in all capitals, although separated by full stops, G.O.O.D. However, when credited it's referred to as Getting Out Our Dreams. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88jake88 (talk • contribs) 17:34, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
GOOD Music Album
[edit]As far as I'm aware, there's no evidence that Mercy or any of the other recently released singles will be on the GOOD Music compilation album as the page suggests? They're all released under the artist Kanye West and not GOOD Music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.111.36.238 (talk) 21:44, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
The Album was confirmed as of yesterday by DefJam. The Press release also confirmed "Mercy" and "New God Flow" to be on the album. http://www.sojones.com/news/153243-g-o-o-d-musics-cruel-summer-dropping-in-september/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.105.92.20 (talk) 16:22, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Common
[edit]Is he still part of the label (not the family)? because hes listed under current acts when the text says hes left.
2nd: this sentence will make 0% sense to casual readers: One of the first artist signed to GOOD Music, Common left the label in 2011 and signed with Warner Bros. Records. But he still remains a part of GOOD Music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.56.170.205 (talk) 09:07, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
Create Cruel Summer
[edit]Cruel Summer needs to have its own article and stop redirecting it. please respond Eleventhblock (talk) 23:58, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
- How can an unreleased album "need" its own article? It clearly fails notability tests. Brookie :) { - he's in the building somewhere!} (Whisper...) 08:10, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- It isn't like this album doesn't have a cover, a release date, and confirmed tracks. The album is going to be released in less than a month. Somebody please make a page about Cruel Summer and redirecting the deleted article to the GOOD Music page. Eleventhblock (talk) 16:48, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- So your criteria for an album is that it has "...a cover, a release date, and confirmed tracks" - doesn't that apply to all albums? This is simply completely un-notable! Brookie :) { - he's in the building somewhere!} (Whisper...) 10:28, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- What I meant, well for example, take D'Angelo's James River album. This album doesn't need a page yet due to the fact that details about the album haven't been released. This album does have details. See what I mean? Eleventhblock (talk) 04:31, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
Where is the Cruel Summer album page?
[edit]The album is due out in 8 days, and there is no article for it? There are albums that haven't even been confirmed to come out that have a page, and this album has built a ton of hype, it has a cover, confirmed tracks and features, release date, everything. Why does it re-direct it here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.125.254.230 (talk) 19:37, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment on Cruel Summer. I agree 100% however I'm here to tell you that the album is due on September 18th, not September 4th which is the date you're thinking of. Eleventhblock (talk) 18:07, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Cruel Summer NEEDS a page
[edit]Cruel Summer's tracklist and album cover have both been released, along with a release date, so there is no reason not to have it. I know of multiple unreleased albums having pages for 6 months before they are released, so this one should too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Distortiondude (talk • contribs) 16:57, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- I have created the page. Now help to keep kids away from there. -SrGangsta (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:19, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
2 Chainz AGAIN
[edit]FOR ONE FINAL TIME
2 CHAINZ IS NOT I REPEAT NOT SIGNED TO GOOD MUSIC. SO STOP ADDING TO THE PAGE! IF YOU DO ADD THAT FAKE DETAIL TO THE PAGE AGAIN I AM GOING TO REPORT VANDLISM! Eleventhblock (talk) 00:07, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
Future albums
[edit]If an albumn is not sourced, it does not belong on this list. If "half" of these albums are sourced, then the other half are unsourced. In any case all of these albums need sources now that I have challenged sourcing that does not appear in the article. little green rosetta(talk)
central scrutinizer 22:03, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
- I said ALL the albums are sourced and half have articles of their own this is a common listing in all label articles see Young Money Entertainment, Maybach Music Group, Shady Records, it goes on and on. What should be done is be split into an upcoming releases section. Which I will be doing now. You need to start thinking before removing large sourced chunks of the article. STATic message me! 23:51, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
Mixtapes?
[edit]I am looking for a list of official mixtapes released on G.O.O.D. music and I can't find one, and they don't seem to be listed in the wiki article. Can we have that here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.90.97.99 (talk) 04:59, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Since it does not take a record label to release a mixtape, they are kind of irrelevant here, that is why you wont see mixtapes in a record label's Wikipedia article. If you are looking for the mixtapes for any specific artist, their articles and discographies provide that information. STATic message me! 05:24, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Kid Cudi current or former artist
[edit]Is Kid Cudi still signed to GOOD? I don't know but the page currently says both.
Big Sean still with Label
[edit]Big Sean is still with the label, but if anyone can confirm that he isn't and reference it, that would be great. I haven't seen him confirm that he left. He has said that he plans on making a new label, but he hasn't recently confirmed anything. Gniewko21 (talk) 18:16, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
Mike Dean to be put under Very Good Beats
[edit]When you look up MIKE DEAN on wiki his label info shows GOOD and MWA so this is what got me thinking about this idea. Other than Ye he has helped produce tracks for Desiigner (former GOOD member) and 070 Shake who’s a recent signee Trethezeldafan (talk) 00:54, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
