Quoted: In 2006, the functional beverage per capita consumption have risen to 66.4 gallons, while the carbonated soft drink sector has a decline in their per capita consumption to 50.4 gallons (192.5 gallons was the average per capita conusmption in 2006)
Carbonated soft drinks dropped from 192.5 gal. in 2006 to 50.4 gal. in 2006? The years referenced appear to be in error.
The entire Types section seems to be either completely uncited, or for chocolate milk, incredibly specific and off-topic. It almost reads like an ad for a homemade product. Can we just excise it, or even move it to the Chocolate Milk page? 198.84.225.238 (talk) 18:07, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree absolutely. When all that information about chocolate milk was added, I refrained from deleting it outright as WP:UNDUE emphasis on a single beverage in a much more generic article because it occurred to me that it might just be the first beverage to be listed, that more might be coming. Now it's clear that that didn't happen. So, yes, let's get rid of details here that, if anywhere, belong in Chocolate milk. Largoplazo (talk) 19:33, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
