History needing a source before adding
[edit]Fukuoka Tower was original intended to have many more floors and be taller than Tokyo Tower. Tokyo objected, as as a compromise only the top of the tower was built. The stiffness of the building, designed to be much higher, means that even on a windy day, the movement at the top is only 2mm, compared with an originally planned 2m. Does anyone have an English source for any of this? Stephen B Streater (talk) 19:22, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Suggestion for Improvement
[edit]It would be great to include the purpose, function and/or reason for it's construction of this tower in the article. I assume that it is for communication but why all the mirrors on the outside? Why are the mirrors half mirrors T S Ballantine (talk) 08:23, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
What else is in the building?
[edit]Is there anything else in the building? The article mentions only the three observation decks. Are there also offices? Are there residences? Is it a hotel? At the very least, is it a fancy communications tower? This is very basic information that should be among the first things discussed in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.4.239.249 (talk) 23:25, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
