Issues

[edit]

There are two issues here: the way that individual articles look (and their accordance with the the Manual of style), and the decision of editors to make set of articles follow the same pattern. I don't think that the former simply overrides the latter, but I do think that consistency of style shouldn't completely override the former either. In this case, for example, having a separate section of only a couple of lines makes the article look scrappy (and goes against what the MoS has to say about sections). If the section were longer, it would be fine, of course, so the solution is to find more to say...

In any case, as well as replacing the section, you also reverted all my edits that corrected links and brought titles and headings into line with the MoS — that should eb avoided whatever you think of my argument above. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:13, 7 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BS Bottom Video.JPG

[edit]

Image:BS Bottom Video.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

false chart info

[edit]

I've removed the claim that this reached #1 in the UK - everyhit.com does not recognise it as a single title, so it's never been in the UK Top 40. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.16.36.100 (talk) 23:55, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please, do not nominate this article. I'm still working on it. Sauloviegas (talk) 15:42, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

    • Overall I feel this article as well is a bit rushed. Aside from the facts, there is no compelling or background info on the song. I feel there is more info you could add. Nice work though! :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 02:49, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of From the Bottom of My Broken Heart's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:27, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
