- "In 1926 de Guingand volunteered for service on secondment with the King's African Rifles." - Is there a link for secondment?
- Yes, secondment, per WP:WHAAOE. Linked. (At the Hood it was called it TDY - you may be more familiar with that term.) Hawkeye7 (discuss) 01:56, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- "he was appointed as Eighth Army's Brigadier General Staff (Operations) vice Brigadier Jock Whiteley." - I'm finding this phrase confusing. It may just be comprehension issues on my part, though.
- See Staff_(military)#British_and_Commonwealth_staff. The British staff was divided into G and A&Q branches. The BGS was the head of the G branch. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 01:56, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- "his wife Arlie was understandably unimpressed with austere post-war Britain" - I'm concerned that "understandably" may be editorializing here, may be best to leave the word out.
- Deleted. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 01:56, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
Sourcing and image licensing looks fine.
Not much to nitpick on here; good work. Hog Farm Talk 01:25, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
