Movie Notability - Malkovich
[edit]I have been doing research on John Malkovich. I took a look at the IMDb source in reference to the Flipping Uncle Kimono documentary. This independent source certainly verifies Mr. Francesco Rulli's participation in the filming of this John Malkovich documentary. It is also listed on Mr. Malkovich's profile which I added to the references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.166.2.20 (talk) 15:56, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree. ImDb is a pretty reliable source for information on moviemaking, since it is used by filmmakers and relied on within the movie industry. --Etiaetia1020 (talk) 08:51, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
Reference 14 The Daily Beast Source
[edit]I've checked out the mention of this person on the Daily Beast. From what I can gather, this article describes him as a businessman and philanthropist with significant influence. Also, judging from what I've read, the Daily Beast adheres strictly to journalistic conduct, and is as independent as its parent magazine, Newsweek. I can't see why this entry was flagged. Can someone please point out the issue? Thank you.Messin33 (talk) 22:40, 5 March 2013 (UTC)messin33
Yes, I also noticed the Daily Beast source. It seems that this is exactly the kind of activity described under Wikipedia's standards. There aren't many people doing this kind of creative entrepreneurship, or at least not this particular kind, which is exactly why the Daily Beast covered it. That, in my mind, meets the notability standards by being significant, and 'unusual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WestEndKat (talk • contribs) 15:37, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
Royal Court Theatre
[edit]It looks like this theatre is supported by the Arts Council England, and as a non-profit entity is neutral by definition, right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.225.166.40 (talk) 10:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
