I didn't write this article - I have been editing it - heavily! I am new here .... Now, I shall try and edit other peoples' articles when I see fit.

One of the messages I received advised me to try and write my bio more in the Wikipedia style - I have edited it today (hopefully for the final time). From now on, I shall edit other peoples' articles ..... when I see it's necessary. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Franceslynn (talk • contribs) 08:20, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever other issues there are, this article needs sourcing. The general requirement of WP:V is reliable third-party sources about, not by, the subject - and to be blunt, everything I can find is promotional. Nothing in NewsBank, Times archive, Google Books ... Gordonofcartoon16:37, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Books are self published by Diggory Press, (called Exposure Publishing on results from ISBN searches)...no reviews, press, etc. that I can find and probably aren't helpful in determining notability.
Ritz magazine seems like a short-lived publication; only one article (from a third-party fan site) is cited or available online. Are other articles available online or could be researched by UK editors with access to hard-copy or private/limited access online libraries? If the magazine wasn't notable enough for its own article, then one article published in it is probably not going to be notable either.
Direct links to listed 2000 AD stories aren't listed in citations...are they online or verified?
WP:COI seemed to be less of an issue than finding online sources that meet WP:RS or offline sources that can be checked by editors with access; hHowever, COI editor has been here since May 2007; that's plenty of time to learn the ropes and help provide what's needed to show notability. Ritz Newspaper had a span of perhaps 20 years, perhaps a little shorter. The argument about it not being notable enough for its own article is not really relevant. Things often happen in peculiar orders on Wikipedia. It simply had not happened yet. Now it has. It has a finite number of Ghits as Ritz Newspaper, and as Ritz Magazine, but size is not everything.
The COI editing is resolved. Frances Lynn, as editor here, and as subject of this article, now understands how to approach supplying information for this article on the talk page and suggesting that another editor might wish to assess it for inclusion. She was new. Like all of us she is learning. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 16:28, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
