Bullets in the wrong place
[edit]I am not sure whether this is just a bug for when the page is displayed in my browser (Windows Internet Explorer 9), but still I wanted to remark that: The bullets for the distinct subspecies are not in the right place, but intersect with the picture on the left. Unfortunately, I do not know how to fix that, but perhaps somebody else does? --MurkyVisions (talk) 19:47, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Main pic
[edit]The main picture shows a strawberry with a pink flower. This would suggest a ( f x ananassa ) x comarum cross, rather than a beach strawberry, or any pure strawberry for that matter.

Virginia strawberry → Fragaria virginiana – While most commonly known as "wild strawberry", as there are other species by that name (mostly Fragaria vesca) it needs to be placed somewhere else.

- Support. Per WP:AT. Scientific names are more CONSISTENTently used than vernacular names for plant article titles, and are PRECISE than vernacular names. CONCISION is a wash between the titles considered here (both two words, similar number of characters). For NATURALness in linking, the scientific name appears to more frequently linked from other articles (barring links via the navbox Template:Fragaria which requires the current title to be linked), and for NATURALness in reader searches and RECOGNIZABILITY, the uncommonly used vernacular doesn't offer that much of an advantage over the scientific with a redirect from the vernacular name ("wild strawberry" is may be the most recognizable title, but is ambiguous).
