Talk:Four-stroking
This article is written in British English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, travelled, centre, defence, artefact, analyse) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |
With all due respect, much of this is bullcrap. If you ever have owned a moped you would know that four stroking is quite normal under many circumstances.

- Then you'll be able to source this, which so far you've repeatedly failed to do. Note that deleting the Bibliography section (where Phil Irving rather disagrees with you) isn't the same thing as sourcing your claim. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:10, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
Ok. Some times a picture can say more than a thousand words, and a video can say even more. Take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eLe6uyV_Vg
You can hear the saw four stroking at idle and at full throttle. What mr. Irving must have meant is four stroking under load which will be a sign of malfunction. I did not delete the bibliography section I think(?). In such case it was an accident, sorry. I will try to find verifications for my claims. Rolling Phantom (talk) 11:38, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
You can add in the article that a clogged exhaust port can extremely aggravate the four-stroking in a two strokes motor? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.157.188.98 (talk) 09:45, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Additional sources needed
[edit]It seems that this article only cites one source and contains very few inline citations. There are many, many unsourced claims and what seems to be personal opinions. Does anyone have some additional sources that they can contribute to this article? FACP2007 (talk) 03:48, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
