[edit]Hi. Article says the fort was built under the direction of ML de Legazpi. He died in 1572. But the article says it was built 1700s.Poysugbo (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:50, 28 April 2011 (UTC).
I think the stone fort was built in the 1700's?
Why is the fort named San Pedro? :) I don't see his name any place. Did I overlook it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sickthing (talk • contribs) 07:43, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
Fort San Pedro was built in 1565, but little was known about the activity of the fort until two centuries later when King Phillip II information of the Philippine Islands in 1739 (as it said in the article). Its name was coined after Legazpi's flagship which sailed the Pacific Ocean in 1565 :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Veronizm (talk • contribs) 05:21, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
