I have difficulty Finding this rice in North America, even shopping Asian grocery stores. I appreciate this article for Naming the rice I found once by accident, and not again since.

An established synonym, not Lotus Foods' brand name

Contrary to notes on some edits, "Forbidden rice" is a long-established synonym for black rice, which goes back long before Lotus Foods existed: run a Google Scholar search.Mikalra (talk) 23:31, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
