This article started as 4 famous flowers of China, which was poorly titled, written, and sourced, and thus deleted. Since then, i added this articles content as an addendum to Four Gentlemen, where it was removed as merely related. i have recreated it with a common title from numerous sources, and added more academic sources for the phrase. I believe that this artistic theme is highly notable in traditional chinese culture, but has a skimpier presence on the web, for the obvious reason that the Net is biased towards recent digital work in English. I would ask that anyone doubting its notability try to show it has no sources in printed material. If there are no scholarly printed works on the subject in Chinese, then its not notable, but i am absolutely sure there are numerous ones not translated to english and placed on the net.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 01:43, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
