[edit]Comment: Seems to be a big deal in Florida, but all the press is coming from Florida newspapers, magazines, and websites. Is that acceptable for notability? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:13, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Good point. I added names of three additional winners to the entry, with citations to out-of-state sources, including National Geographic[1], Boston University[2], and Carnegie Mellon University[3]. I would also like to point out that major publisher Simon & Schuster supports "Florida Book Award" as a search category on its website[4]; and that the award is noted as biographical info among Portland State University faculty members[5] and Dayton Literary Peace Prize winners[6]. Although I'm not sure that citing these within the entry itself would add value, in my opinion, they indicate national visibility of the award and hence its notability.
