Removing {{verify}}, {{nn}} tags
[edit]I've done a lot of cleanup of the page since the original version, which was quite terribly written and was essentially a press release (or at least looked like one).
I think the campaign passes the relevant thresholds of notability and verifiability, so I've removed the relevant tags. If you object to that, let me know. --Saforrest 22:45, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
I think it's the curvature curve of the L that throws the phrase off. --Addict 2006 21:44, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
It's implied that the logo resembles the middle finger, but in reality it is simply a 1-within-a-0 power button. 1 would be on, and 0 would be off. Should this be edited perhaps? (Asidity (talk) 01:37, 18 March 2009 (UTC))
Flick Off bumper sticker
[edit]Not sure if it's worth mentioning here as I don't have any references due to how long ago it was, but in the 1980's in Australia a bumper sticker with the caption "FLICK OFF" reminding drivers to dim their high beam was banned due to its resemblence to "FUCK OFF". External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Flick Off. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20070428061004/http://www.cbc.ca:80/consumer/story/2007/04/26/flick-off-campaign.html to http://www.cbc.ca/consumer/story/2007/04/26/flick-off-campaign.html/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
