A fact from First Lady Bake-Off appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 4 July 2023 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the First Lady Bake-Off was inspired by a political gaffe by Hillary Clinton and predicted five out of seven elections?

QPQ: - N/A Overall: Hook is very interesting. This is the nominator's first nominated article, so a QPQ is not needed at this time. Earwig reported a 41.9% copyright violation but it seems to have come from the quotes provided in the article, which were accurately attributed. However, I do suggest trimming them down or paraphrasing. For the line "The competition became known for often predicting the results of the presidential election", it should end with a comma. As a suggestion, I think there is also potential for the lead to be expanded, but that is not required for DYK. I assume good faith on print sources. lullabying (talk) 03:40, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
