Cleanup POV
[edit]I cleaned up the article a little bit by removing some of the subjective terms and getting rid of the unnecessary sentences that affected the tone of the article. Also, I moved the image of the Fiorucci box down near the Style section, where it was first referenced. Lenore Schwartz 14:30, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Rewrite
[edit]As indicated above, the article was a bit of a mess so I've completely rewritten it. May be a bit "dry" at the moment, but there's a pretty good framework there, and at least it's all pretty well referenced by WP:RS, even if NYT fashion articles in particular don't check their facts as well as they should. :-( I think I've sorted out the corporate stuff fairly well, although sources do get a bit confused on the matter, and I've not found anything about the Montedison relationship - you can imagine that they might have taken a minority stake in '74, and then taken it up to 50% for the big push on the USA. And reliable financial information seems pretty hard to come by, it would be nice to measure their success in the 80's. Also the current relationship between Elio and Edwin is not that clear to me, the NYT article implies he was in full creative control in 2001, but Love Therapy and the H&M case suggests that the relationship has now cooled? It's also not clear exactly what went wrong with the Carrera deal - did they just get cold feet about the legal case? Anyway, the article is crying out for some pictures - logos, merchandise etc but it can't be far off GA otherwise. FlagSteward (talk) 01:54, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

American Psycho
[edit]Fiorucci is name-checked in a derogatory way… describing a misfit punk's style as "used Fiorucci." Nicoleropp (talk) 18:43, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
