Keep: You won't read about Find My Ring Size in Time or Newsweek; what sort of notability does Wikipedia look for? It's a software that Mashable has written about. Why is this not sufficient or trivial?. Disclosure: I have used Find My Ring Size, and there is no website or service similar; I simply know what is trivial or not trivial about web-based software. Working with software developers and the main contributor to the FindMyRingSize article, I feel that I have complied to Wikipedia rules, added categories and links as requested upon submission of the article, avoided including external links. Awaiting a litany of WP: policies cited as grounds for dismissing my arguments, Elepeg (talk) 08:32, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Elepeg, The links in the Proposed Deletion Notice take you to all the rules, policies etc. Or you can just start by reading Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Please don't take this personally. Policies are in place to prevent Wikipedia from being swamped by articles about anything and everything and used as a forum for free advertising and self promotion. And believe me there is A LOT of that out there. The bottom line though is that Wikipedia is not a random collection of knowledge. Just because something exists and works doesn't mean it belongs in an encyclopedia. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 08:51, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
