The result of the move request was: Opposes uncountered, title(s) stand, not moved. (non-admin closure) — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 05:31, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Baudelaire Fortune moved the franchise page without considering the RM consensus three years ago. I reverted it back, so I start another RM for proper procedure. This affected the statistics, in contrast with previous way. As for primacy, while WP:DABCONCEPT implies that the franchise is the broad concept and primary topic, statistics may prove that neither is primary at all. Death personified

[edit]

I've a problem with the description of the film as being about "Death personified" as there is no person, there is no skeletal figure with a scythe, no angel of death. It is death in the abstract, an "invisible antagonist", a force of nature. It might be more accurate to say it is the manifestation of death, like a strong wind we clearly see the consequences without seeing the wind itself. The article needs better more careful phrasing. -- 37.110.218.43 (talk) 11:44, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ratings

[edit]

WP:FILMRATINGS says not to include film ratings. For some reason this article ignores the guidelines and includes a table of ratings anyway. There does not appear to be anything notable (or even interesting) about the ratings. Why does this article includes a ratings table? -- 109.77.214.141 (talk) 23:47, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the table.[1] I can only guess that someone added it in good faith unaware of WP:FILMRATINGS, but still it should at least have been properly referenced WP:V. If someone really wants to add it back they should find references to show the ratings were notable WP:N. -- 109.78.202.222 (talk) 16:07, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
