Merge with SoP?

[edit]

It has been suggested that this article or section be merged into Separation of powers. I am not agree. I think that it can stand like now. If there is an article for fourth branch, this can stand too. It's a specific matter.--Ángel Luis Alfaro 17:44, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I absolutely concur that it should not be merged, though perhaps not for the same reasons as Ángel. This is a specious article, perhaps even a candidate for deletion. The concept of the separation of powers is centuries old, the concept of the media being a fourth branch is much younger, but still established. This, as far as I can tell, is one man's idea. I was going to delete this, but it is too funny. --66.7.117.179 (talk) 10:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fifth powerFifth power (politics)Fourth power and Sixth power are each about the mathematical term; it's surprising that the article of Fifth power is dis-ambiguated. Georgia guy (talk) 21:33, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Three powers

[edit]

Is it related to the three estates of the realm or the three powers in separation of powers? --Error (talk) 10:00, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
