CTBUH via Skyscraper Center gives a height that's 100 feet higher than the article states, but they also point out that 10 floors are below ground. This is probably what the 9 floors of parking are,
since the render doesn't seem to show above ground parking, or the higher floor count given. I'm pretty sure this is 36 floors above ground, and the height is quite high for a hotel because it is a

Sure enough, counting the render, it is below 40 above ground floors. The parking is likely below ground, and brings the building to the 188 meters or 617 feet reported on CTBUH only if the 9 floors
