I have restored the notability tag. As it stands now the mentioned references do not even come close to showing notability. One source is primary, the other is an album review and the other is a bio quip on a obscure site. This isn't enough to show notability. I'm not necessarily saying the person isn't notable, just that it hasn't been established on this page. Thus, the tag needs to remain until it is fixed.
That is fair - the notability is in the many french and italian press articles about him. (and the award won) I hoped someone with better language skills would be able to use those to flesh out the article. However I last few years that has not hapoened and that link seems to be dead now because his website has been updated to a different format. I will drag out my french dictionary and try and update it a bit more than the few english lang cites.AlasdairEdits (talk) 18:06, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
