- ... that the February 28 Popular Leagues would seize foreign embassies in protest against the military junta in El Salvador?

Hook eligibility:

- Other problems: -
A tweak to wording would be ideal - the hook says "in protest against .. junta" while the phrasing in the article comes in two sentences - "...28 took a militant stance against the ... coup d'état" and "gain attention to the situation in El Salvador, such as occupations of embassy buildings" - this is not fully consistent.
QPQ: Done. |
Overall: Great on timing, solid on length (3k+), well-sourced and neutral. No plagiarism issues. QPQ OK. Hook is covered by a citation on the 3rd clause, and a back-up one on the 1st - but see above, some work needed on the hook. I will try to help by copyediting the phrasing in the article, but the hook will need some tweaking. Looking forward to approving soon. SeoR (talk) 22:18, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- @SeoR: nominator has been AWOL, so I'll adopt the nom. I merged the two sentences dealing with the hook theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/them) 08:41, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron:, that's great, thanks - a shame to lose a solid nom. The phrasing change seems to me to do the trick, and you're far more experienced here, so I'm saying that this is good to go. SeoR (talk) 08:59, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- @SeoR: yeah, glad this one didn't get too backlogged :) If we're all good, could you use the

template?
- also, i've been here for like three weeks at most, ahaha theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/them) 09:07, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- :-), sorry, thought changing the status to a full "y" was enough, adding template. And that's been a very active few weeks then! Ciao, SeoR (talk) 09:24, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- Oh no, you're right, I didn't see that you changed the status. From what i've seen, that symbol is usually left as is, and then a new tick is placed inline—any format works, though. Also, yeah, it's been quite an active few weeks :) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/them) 20:57, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
