Disadvantages?

[edit]

There is a section on "advantages", but surely there must be some disadvantages as well? Else all guitars now being made would be fanned fret, and they're not. Also, an illustration or two would be nice.

Copy edit

[edit]

I have copy edited this page. I have no expertise in the area but it seems to me the information in this page could be transferred to the multi-scale fingerboard article. Kind regards along the way, Myrtle. Myrtlegroggins (talk) 07:22, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Manufacturers

[edit]

This section needs to be updated badly. Right now, it screams Spam link farm. Is this section needed? Can it be changed to discourage the addition of random manufacture links?- McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 15:30, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Prior art?

[edit]

As one specific example, the orpharion had a similar fret arrangement roughly 400 years before Novak's patent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gambaguru (talkcontribs) 00:30, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
