Famous works

[edit]

It would be useful for non-chinese speakers if the title of Fan Zhongyan's 'Famous Work' were to be translated into English.Duncan.france 13:43, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just added the info about his Chancellor position.

Expansion

[edit]

I expanded the article. I don't believe it is a stub anymore, so I removed the template and will ask the rater to re-rate. ludahai 魯大海 04:18, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great job Ludahai, I commend your efforts.--PericlesofAthens 10:51, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestry and family

[edit]

It was noted by peer review that the Ancestry section substantially lacks reliable references. In reviewing the section, it seems that the ancestry language mostly associated with the Surname Fan, instead of Fan Zhongyan's direct ancestor or immediate family members. This content does not contribute much to the current article, and is better referenced in the Fan (surname) page for readers interested. I am therefore removing content up to "Fan Zhongyan is also a descendant of Fan Lübing, a Grand Chancellor of the Tang dynasty... I will continue to research on Fan's immediate ancestry and descendants to ref fill the rest of the section. TheIntrospectorsfacts (talk) 15:49, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
