Although the statement that it was burned with the heifer and is therefore aromatic is sourced in Jewish Encyclopaedia, and therefore I will leave it in the article, it seems silly as red string doesn't smell at all but is burned too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.251.85.48 (talk) 07:08, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
