Wrong Pere Lagrange
[edit]The Pere Lagrange who taught in Jerusalem was not Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange. It was a different Lagrange, to whom Reginald was not even related. I don't know how to edit, though, so all I can do is add this note. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.88.112.229 (talk) 17:53, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- I fixed it, and was coming here to explain, when I saw the issue had been raised almost a year ago. See the French Wikipedia on theologie catholique ("En 1890, le dominicain Marie-Joseph Lagrange fonda l'École Pratique d'Études Bibliques..."). theloavesandthevicious (talk) 00:08, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
A foe of nazi-fascism

Dubious
[edit]Re "Interview with Paul-Joseph Schmitt, Archbishop of Metz, in Le Lorrain, 9 March 1963": according to French Wikipedia, the Catholic daily newspaper fr:Le Lorrain (quotidien) ceased publication in 1945, so this cannot be the source cited. Metz is a diocese so there are bishops of Metz rather than archbishops. These points call into question the credibility of the cited source.
