Same subjects?
[edit]There is another article about the same subject: Estonian anti-German resistance movement 1941–1944.

- I agree, the background for the two articles is common and the list of partisans needs an axe anyway as the members are not notable enough. This leaves only parts of the lead and the Estonian partisans#Estonian partisans section that carries original content in the context of Wikipedia. Therefore I strongly suggest somebody who has contributed to this article to start merging. Otherwise, an outsider will have to be bold. --Jaan Pärn (talk) 18:03, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- This article title should be a redirect to Forest Brothers, see Estonian partisans @ google books. --Termer (talk) 04:07, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
- PS. in case anybody wants to create an article about Soviet partisans in Estonia, that's fine as long as it's done according to WP:RS, not like this one , the entire article is based on a single book from the series of Soviet historiography. --Termer (talk) 05:02, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

also Guerrilla war in the Baltic states to be mentioned--Estopedist1 (talk) 11:36, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- I forgot to credit the original article. so here: copied content from Guerrilla war in the Baltic states; see that page's history for attribution. this was supposed to be on the first edit i made, i apologize! EestiEnthusiast (talk) 15:03, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
Importance level
[edit]Howdy, In the talk page of Guerrilla war in the Baltic states, it shows the article being high-importance in the Wikiproject;Estonia Scale. and this one being only mid. Which makes me think, shouldnt this article be High-Importance aswell? or is it because Guerrilla war in the Baltic states includes the broader topic of the three Baltic states. Just a little confused,EestiEnthusiast (talk) 19:30, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
may copy edit
[edit]My intentions are good so please explain on the talk page if I do anything wrong. Moxy based on your comments elsewhere you may also be interested in this. Just a suggestion in case you are. I myself am interested as an extension of the WW2 resistance topic. Elinruby (talk) 03:41, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- did a fast once-over, mostly for wikilinks and english. Leaving copy-edit tag up as I am not conviced I got everything and it sounds like there are may be an article split. Elinruby (talk) 04:30, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- I did a lot more copy edits. It's probably mostly done by now.
- The whole article needs a lot more sourcing before more copy editing can really be done. 71.11.5.2 (talk) 18:32, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
