- Hi Peacemaker67 (talk), review follows: article promoted to GA on 21 December; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; I found no issue with overly close paraphrasing in a spot check of sources; hook facts are interesting, mentioned in the article and check out to source cited; image looks good and licensing appears to be reasonable; a QPQ has been carried out. Looks good to me - Dumelow (talk) 08:25, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
Edit warring about cropping the infobox pic
G'day all, I would have thought that a crop that makes Roberts' head and shoulders pretty much fill the frame is best for an infobox. The purpose of an infobox photo is to identify the subject, and the larger he is in the frame the better, surely? The actual frame of the card seems superfluous and I don't think it helps identify the subject, we know who he is without the E.A. ROBERTS at the bottom. - I 100% agree with you that the cropped image is better. The non-cropped image unnecessarily duplicates Robert's name and doesn't provide any more value than the cropped image. Steelkamp (talk) 07:25, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
- It's pretty ugly of a crop. You could crop the card, e.g. something like [1], but the crop goes way beyond that. It crops it to just his head, making it look like something from a yearbook or other cheap reproduction where fitting hundreds of images in, but that's clearly what's wanted here, given changing to a crop that removed the card but didn't crop so aggressively got reverted as well. It's fine. I've taken it off my restoration schedule. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 8.3% of all FPs. Currently celebrating his 600th FP! 12:57, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
Trolling?
This sentence at the end of his biography seems spurious: "He was the first man to identify as an attack helicopter/black lesbian." אינדיגו (talk) 21:03, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
