[edit]Isn't Eric Bloom a cousin of Howard Stern? I thought this could be added to the Trivia section - tharsaile 16:18, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Uhh... is it just me... or shouldn't this not be a book? "Summer of love" and such... this is an encyclopedia, come on. --CrazyCasey 03:00, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Triva...
[edit]I dunno if the "trivia" section should even be in this article, since it seems trivia sections in other articles have gotten the 'disparaged' tag, but it's a little out of date -- Allen Lanier is retired, and now Eric and Buck are the only two original BOC members with the band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.136.192.1 (talk) 18:27, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:SWU1968.jpg
[edit]Image:SWU1968.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Stun guitar
[edit]Since stun guitar redirects to this article, I'd like to see a brief explanation here. The only information I can find about the origin of the term is on blogs and other non-encyclopedic sources. I notice that the Blue Öyster Cult article pipes it to rhythm guitar, so for this article I was thinking something along the lines of "Bloom is credited as playing "stun guitar" on some Blue Öyster Cult works, a term the band uses for his style of rhythm guitar." Is this still too contentious, such that it would require a citation? Hoof Hearted (talk) 13:37, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
Hearing no objections, I added it. Even found some legit references. Hoof Hearted (talk) 13:24, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
