Equatorial Africa has some established historical meanings like French Equatorial Africa that are much more restricted than all of Black Africa.

Also, it is not obvious to someone seeing the term that it is supposed to include Southern Africa.--JWB 02:38, 23 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
