@Lantuszka: Why call him "Epiphanius"? I have never seen his name in English being something else than "Epiphany" or "Epiphaniy" Also, you can use the information which are here: [1] Veverve (talk) 00:14, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Because this is official English version of his name: Epiphanius -- Lantuszka (talk) 11:46, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Lantuszka: can you put the version of the Ukrainian article you translated in Template:Translated page whenever you find time? Veverve (talk) 5 December 2019 (UTC)

Is the "(Metropolitan of Kiev)" required? There is no other use of Epiphanius I. © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 04:44, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2 PhDs in Theology

[edit]

Does he really has two PhDs in Theology (2003 and 2012) that would be higly unlikely (I would think even impossible). Is one probably a different PhD? --Mdebets (talk) 22:20, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why is he not a Patriarch?

[edit]

If he is the head of an autocephalous church, why is he not a Patriarch? --82.37.129.75 (talk) 00:10, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not all heads of Eastern Orthodox Churches (i.e. primates) are patriarchs. See for example: Archbishop of Albania, Tikhon Mollard, Ieronymos II of Athens, List of archbishops of Cyprus. Veverve (talk) 00:13, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, he is a layman, given the fact he was defrocked and never reinstated canonically. GabrielAugustine86 (talk) 14:07, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
