Contradiction to be resolved
[edit]Pankenier exaggerates saying that Epang was the largest palatial complex (did he mean "one piece structure"?) of China, since there was Weiyang. It is unclear whether Epang was actually completed. The Wiki article in discussion gives a link to some tiny newspaper note in English, which does not specify what was the measure of "incompleteness", and what research is implied. Pankenier specifies Xu W.-M. 2000, Qin ducheng yanjiu, Shaanxi renmin jiaoyu, Xi’an.--Shanghainese.ua (talk) 08:43, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
Library
[edit]some linking articles claim that part or all of the libraries of Qin Shihuang, holding the books otherwise burned throughout China, were at Epang Palace before their razing. If those are accurate, it deserves mention here since this was the actual moment of their complete loss. — LlywelynII 12:19, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
