Draft article
[edit]Hello! Over the past few months, I've been working with Enka İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. to draft an improved Wikipedia article as part of my work at Beutler Ink. I've disclosed my conflict of interest above, and I'll be sticking to talk page suggestions instead of making any direct edits to the article.
I'd like to note, the article is currently unsourced in its entirety, as evidenced by the warning banner at the top of the page. Additionally, the warning banner says, "This article contains content that is written like an advertisement." For these reasons, Enka İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. would like to see an improved entry, and I've worked to address these concerns by drafting a neutral, sourced company overview. Editors can see my draft article here: User:Inkian Jason/Enka İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş.
The draft has four sections: a corporate overview with a basic description of the company and its activities and locations, the name of the CEO, the number of employees, etc.; a brief company history; a summary of major projects; and a short overview of the foundation's activities, the latter part of which links readers to related articles such as ENKA Schools and Adapazarı ENKA School. I've strived to be neutral, and Enka has reviewed the draft for accuracy.
I realize this is a lot to review at once, so I'd like to propose working section by section. Please see my first request below.
Corporate overview
[edit]The existing article starts with an unsourced, single-sentence "Projects" section, but I'd like for editors to consider replacing this content with the corporate overview seen here: User:Inkian_Jason/Enka_İnşaat_ve_Sanayi_A.Ş.#Company. This overview is similar to others I've seen for company articles, and provides to readers: a company description and activities (including project types and locations), the headquarters location, the name of the current CEO, the number of employees, and mention of the company's inclusion in a Forbes Global 2000 list in 2017. Again, I'm looking for an editor to review and update the article appropriately.
Following is a rendering of the proposed section, as well as markup for easier copying and pasting:

I should note, the current article does not have a "References" section or Template:Reflist, so these will also need to be added. I'm hopeful editors will see this as an improvement to a currently unsourced article, and possibly remove the "unsourced" tag. Thanks for your help. Inkian Jason (talk) 18:49, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Done I went ahead and implemented the whole draft. I apologize for not noticing the section-by-section proposal. --Jordano53 (talk) 22:15, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Jordano53: Thanks for reviewing this request. I think the second definition of "<ref name="NCE-24072018">" can be reduced to simply "<ref name="NCE-24072018"/>" (my fault!), but otherwise the updated article looks good. Thanks again, Inkian Jason (talk) 22:21, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
