Tables
[edit]The cell entries in the tables are written in such a way as to make the arrows used to sort results useless.
As the flags precede the dates for world cups it will only sort the host cities into alphabetical order. A similar difficulty is found when sorting other results. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.165.166.46 (talk) 20:47, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
- Done I've added
data-sort-value="xx"
to the Year and Position columns which should sort out the ordering issues --Philk84 (talk) 07:21, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Travelled / Traveled
[edit]@Lee Vilenski - you recently changed "travelled" to "traveled" in the Brazil 1950 section - Does this mean that Wikipedia uses American spellings? Travelled with two L's is British English, whereas "traveled" with one L is American English. As this is an article about England, perhaps the British spellings should be used? --Philk84 (talk) 08:22, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Philk84 - It should, and it will. Apparently my spellchecker has reverted from British English to American English (I am British, btw). I'll revert. Sorry about that. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:43, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, I hate when mine decides to do that as well. Thanks. --Philk84 (talk) 09:07, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
