Proposed Deletion

[edit]

This article is one of several covering the electricity industry in New Zealand. This article covers one of the electricity retail companies, see the list in the corresponding template. Other articles on the New Zealand electricity retailers include Bay of Plenty Electricity, Contact Energy, Genesis Energy, King Country Energy, Mercury Energy, Meridian Energy, Powershop, Todd Energy and TrustPower. Why should Wikipedia have articles on the other retail companies, but not Energy Direct?

The article has neutral point of view (certainly compared to Powershop).

Energy Direct is one of the smaller retail companies, but is notable. For example, it is listed in the comparison of electricity suppliers maintained by the Consumer Institute. --Pakaraki (talk) 22:24, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like there are several Energy Direct companies around the world. Perhaps there should be a disambiguation page titled Energy Direct and this article moved to Energy Direct (NZ) or similar.--Pakaraki (talk) 22:48, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
