Doesn't winning the Welsh Chess Championship make him notable per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Chess#Notability_of_chess_players? I know of him through his research on machine translation, I think you could also argue for his notability there. Francis Bond (talk) 11:42, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
