More than half of this article is about his bus accident. How about some more info on his career? To partially quote his biggest country hit, it's not a great article, but it's a damn good start. Requested moves

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: move the disambiguation page to Emilio and the article on the singer to Emilio Navaira, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 02:42, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

– Doubtful that the singer is more notable than all other uses of "Emilio" ever. This article appears to have started at Emilio, but spent the last year at Emilio Navaira, perhaps because of someone searching for the Danish teen rapper Emilio (no article here or in dk.wp). The Brazilian singer Emílio Santiago is generally not known just as Emílio. Emilio (name). Emílio (disambiguation), Brazilians only, might want merging into Emilio (disambiguation). @Magiciandude and V2Blast: You mean (singer) or Navaira? Navaira is fairly often used; searching for "Emilio singer" isn't easy. --George Ho (talk) 03:31, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well, since you made your suggestion after my response, I was obviously talking about In ictu oculi's suggestion (though I was mostly just agreeing that the singer's page should not be the primary topic). That said, I do believe using the last name would make for a clearer title, so your proposal would probably be the best. --V2Blast (talk) 05:38, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@George Ho: I'm supporting In ictu oculi's proposal and I have no idea why the notifications didn't inform me of you pinging me. Erick (talk) 04:54, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You can click "preferences" at the top and configure notification settings. As for the naming, 99 articles use Emilio Navaira. Searching for this person within "Emilio singer" isn't easy; don't assume that 2,000+ articles use the name. Try narrowing down and see for yourself. Also, from WP:NCP#Single names, "[D]on't use a first name (even if unambiguous) for an article title if the last name is known and fairly often used." --George Ho (talk) 05:03, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@George Ho:, very well then, I change my stance to support for Emilio Navaira. Erick (talk) 15:14, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
