Editing suggestions: Did she grow up in Syracuse or Geddes? Be more clear. You call her husband both Joseph and John - which is it? (Your reference http://www.women-philosophers.com/Ellen-Mitchell.html makes the same mistake.) In general, you need to clean up your prose to make it tighter, grammatically correct, and clearer. The part that was removed by another editor - "Her philosophies have mostly been very similar to the ideas of other philosophers. This is something that other philosophers have commented on, that it is a regurgitation of other philosopher’s beliefs." - is actually interesting, if you can add the source where you found it. Make sure you couch it in terms of: there's been some controversy surrounding the importance of Mitchell's work, with some philosophers criticizing it as mere regurgitation of other philosopher's beliefs (cite).
