This article on main page (10 July 2021). Why?

[edit]

Great to see, I'm very that ski jumping is promoted and gets publicity on main page of english wikipedia. However, I still don't get it with what did this article deserved to be on main page of wikipedia. There are so many huge names in ski jumping with countless of historic achievements and records that should be on the main page instead of her? Sportomanokin (talk) 12:31, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And why such legends as Goldberger, Prevc, Stoch, Nieminen, Małysz, Ruud, Bradl, Steiner, Takanashi and Kasai gets no attention at all from main wikipedia site? Sportomanokin (talk) 12:39, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's the image that is the focus. You're looking at the Picture of the Day. – The Grid (talk) 19:22, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
