There's something I don't understand - I had some visitors from Effat College today and wated to show them Wikipedia, and therefore thought I would show them the page for the college. But when I searched for Effat, the College page didn't show up at all. Is there some reason the search engine wouldn't pick up the Effat in the article? DukeEGR93 04:18, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

is has an offical website which is [www.effatcollege.edu.sa] Ammar 11:50, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I wasn't clear - I mean that putting Effat in the Wikipedia search engine doesn't bring up this article. It says results 1-3, but then only shows two items. Google and such certainly bring up the official page, but since they came from Effat, they've seen that one before  :) DukeEGR93 16:24, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
oh i have no idea sir :) it could be a technical problem or something like that , try to contact a moderator is better :) , anyways Effat is a female name so it could show u results of persons than showing u the college page :) Ammar 15:10, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Effatcollegelogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Effatcollegelogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Women's university or men's and women's one?

[edit]

First line says:

is a private non-profit institution of higher education for males and females

But later it says:

Effat University is considered the first private woman college in Saudi Arabia.

And it is in the category Women's universities and colleges in Saudi Arabia

Can anybody who knows more arrange it?

Effat was originally a women's university, but they've started accepting male students from 2022. I guess this could be added. Wsa3000 (talk) 18:55, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
