I created a template, Template:Education infobox which can give a quick at a glance demographics table for education articles. See its implementation at Education in the United States and feel free to help improve the template.--naryathegreat | (talk) 01:00, August 7, 2005 (UTC)
Why these quotes?
The article includes some strange quotes which I cannot understand their purpose: "In some cantons", at the end of primary school and "Other cantons" have only one kind of secondary school. NerdyNSK (talk) 10:47, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Lack of detail
I came to this article to find out whether Swiss education was like traditional German education with the Staatsexam, Magister, etc. Or if they have introduced the BA + MA like in Germany. Similarly, is the Habilitation under threat from 'Juniorprofessors' and the like? None of this information is here, please add it. Tibetologist (talk) 12:12, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
Tax and payment
Hello, it would be usefull to know, how payment for this education is solved. Does all of money come from obligatory taxes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.74.110.33 (talk) 16:43, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Possible mistake
Hi i think there's a mistake, in ticino secondary school is not separated, although there are separated classes for mathematics and german (A or B level in third and fourth years according to previous performance). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.55.196.197 (talk) 16:37, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Sports in Switzerland's school
Does Switzerland have sports in the school system or is it an after-school activity none related to the system? thanks! --Nfarrow (talk) 03:33, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- There is no formal sports in the school system as in the USA where different schools compete against each other. Usually, a Swiss school does not have a sports team that you can join. However, the Swiss Constitution requires a certain amount of school sports during mandatory schooling and all students have some (2-3) hours of PE (physical education) per week. Is this article in English or in German?
There are so many German words here and there so I cannot get anything. Höhere Fachschule Berufsmaturitätsschule Fachhochschule Fachmatura etc... Switzerland has 3 other official languages and German names are not relevant for people who live in French (or Italian) parts of Switzerland. I would suggest to provide Frech and Italian names in such a case if English one does not exist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.179.187.57 (talk) 14:57, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
