Reclassified?

[edit]

There is an article in the Tennessean mentioning that, "A ceremony to mark the recovery of the Tennessee purple coneflower will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon. The wildflower is found only in the limestone barrens and cedar glades in Davidson, Rutherford and Wilson counties. It was recently removed from the federal endangered species list."

I can find no confirmation of the status change. If somebody with greater knowledge of the various databases and registries could check, I believe this article should be rewritten to indicate that it is a success story of conservation (well, probably phrased a bit more NPOVish). 74.240.246.52 (talk) 01:24, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
