Assassination in the lead section, notable ministers serving the area
[edit]I wonder whether a couple of editors could reply below (after the right number of colons)
- which appears like this (indents)
- as to whether the Assassination of Ian Gow should feature in the "intro."? Apparently this was part of a string by the Prov. IRA. Also other Eastbourne past MPs may have been more senior ministers and be of note for an appropriately interesting subsection to boost the quality of this article up towards A grade (loosely equiv. to Good Article status). 2017 Conservative vote change
[edit]The article had the Conservative Caroline Ansell's vote share dropping by 4.5% in 2017, but in fact comparing the figures it increased by 4.5% and this is confirmed by other sources. I think the confusion is because she lost the seat she had won in 2015, but this was actually due to the Liberal Democrat Stephen Lloyd's vote share increasing more than Ansell's, rather than a drop in her vote. I have thus corrected this error.Dunarc (talk) 20:26, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
