Definition?
[edit]I wonder, is the word ear used for all types of seedheads? Especially I'm interested in its possible use for those types of millet, sorghum, oat etc that does not have a raceme with flowers tightly fit together. In my native Swedish we differ between ax and vippa. Oat has a vippa. Many TIA.--Paracel63 (talk) 14:20, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
