Haven't looked at this in a while and found a bunch of new references to him on Books google and a couple things on google.scholar. In case someone wants to add some material before I get around to it. CarolMooreDC 02:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP:COI and WP:RS discussion

[edit]

I have been explaining these policies regarding my recent reverts (see second one re: WP:Coi and WP:RS problems here) of User talk:Marc R M Gauvin's material at his talk page. To repeat my bottom line comments here: ::Please read WP:reliable sources which is the bigger issue. If you can find some other book or newspaper article or reliable newsletter that makes that connection, fine. But quoting yourself as the expert is a WP:conflict of interest. The only exception might be circumstances like your comment was published in a notable academic article or mainstream media publication, which is not the case. Just read through the policies.
